“Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.” ~ Eph. 2:19-22 (NKJV)
At the end of each year it has become a custom of mine to draw away from normal activities and spend some dedicated time prayerfully considering goals and accomplishments achieved during the past year and to seek the Lord about the coming year. During this time and beginning particularly around 2015 the Lord once again began to speak to my heart in ways he once did years ago.
Please allow me to share some of the stirring impressions I received this last November and December:
The work he has done for many years to lay foundations locally, he now will begin the process of laying foundations extra-locally. The ministry gifts of the Apostles and Prophets are foundational in that their impact on those who receive these ministries are changed and transformed in ways otherwise not possible. The Lord will establish these people in the faith of Christ and his absolute Lordship. He will bring realignment to the faith of many. Some of these will be moved from their current place into their anointed place. The outcome will be a greater joy and presence in their lives and to whom they encounter. This move will also divide and separate as the Lord brings a renewal of his Lordship and sovereignty within the priestly nation on the earth which is his Church.
The order of first things:
The first man Adam was made naturally from the dust. He subsequently fell spiritually and was lost eternally. Christ the Lord came to pay for all sin on the cross spiritually so that mankind could first be saved spiritually and then after that naturally.
If the ministries of the true Apostles and Prophets do not go forth as a catalyst for this renewal and transformation the country could be lost. What happens in the world happens in the Church first. There is also a principle in the Bible and subsequently the Kingdom which is “fathers always go through first.”
For our nation to change first the church must change. This will be a process not an event. I fully expect the Lord to manifest in many ways in the proceeding years including signs and wonders. Churches will rise and some will fall. He will affirm, he will establish and the Holy Spirit will exalt the name of Jesus Christ the Lord for the world to see. As this separation comes the Lord will make a distinction between the righteous by faith and the wicked, the true and the false, the sheep and the goats, the wheat and the tares.
